Under the leadership of Founder/CEO Dan Wacks State Flower has an unwavering commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation, they have redefined what it means to cultivate premium cannabis.

State Flower Cannabis is headquartered in San Francisco with operations in Nevada and partnerships globally. From the very beginning, their mission was clear: to produce exceptional, high-quality cannabis while minimizing their environmental impact.

One of the pillars of State Flower’s success is their unwavering commitment to producing top-tier cannabis products. They have achieved this by carefully selecting premium strains, utilizing cutting-edge cultivation techniques, and maintaining rigorous quality control standards.

State Flower’s cultivation facilities are state-of-the-art, featuring controlled environments that ensure ideal conditions for the plants. This attention to detail, from lighting and humidity to temperature and nutrients, results in cannabis that is not only potent but also exceptionally flavorful and aromatic.

One of State Flower’s longtime core commitments to sustainability has been the pursuit of improving LED lighting technology. Wacks has worked with LED manufactures since 2012 and in 2017 developed a formal partnership with Sanan Optoelectronics, the largest producer of LED components globally.  Wacks worked with engineers in China and the US to develop and launch the Photobio line of LED lighting (distributed by Hydrofarm), technology that State Flower has utilized in their cultivation facilities since the Photobio’s inception.

Wacks visited Sanan’s headquarters in Xiamen, China over the course of the partnership, where he helped the company develop a 100,000 square foot cutting edge cultivation facility to test their latest technology. Sanan is also an industry leader in vertical farming with one of the world’s first fully autonomous cultivation businesses, exclusively utilizing robotics end-to-end, from propagation to packaging. With this exposure to the future of Controlled Environment Agriculture, Wacks was able to take away key insights that would guide his cultivation model for years to come. Currently Wacks and team are utilizing Fluence’s latest Raptr line of LED lighting in their Las Vegas facility which received a full retrofit this year.

State Flower is not content with the status quo, and their dedication to innovation is evident in their continuous pursuit of the latest cultivation techniques. They invest heavily in research and development, seeking new methods to enhance plant health, yield, and overall product quality.

Another groundbreaking innovation they have embraced is the use of data analytics and artificial intelligence to optimize the growing process. By harnessing technology, they can monitor and adjust environmental conditions in real-time, resulting in healthier plants and more efficient operations.

With real-time crop data from sensor technology, State Flower’s approach to cultivation is about continuous improvement.  According to Wacks: “Maximizing production capacity while lowering costs is the name of the game, and data analytics has helped increase our production capacity by 25 percent while reducing our input cost by nearly 50 percent. Our fertigation equipment is.really key to not just creating a more economical process without sacrificing any quality, optimizing our irrigation strategy with real-time data has improved our decision-making capacity remotely and in the field.”

Wacks is not just a visionary leader; he’s also a champion of the local community. State Flower actively engages with the community through educational programs, job creation, and community outreach. They understand the importance of giving back and fostering a positive relationship with the areas in which they operate.

State Flower Cannabis Company is a testament to the fact that success in the cannabis industry is not just about producing the best products but also about doing so sustainably and responsibly. As the cannabis industry continues to evolve and expand, State Flower is well-positioned to maintain its leadership role in cultivation and beyond.

Their dedication to excellence, their community, and the planet are making the world of cannabis cultivation a greater and more promising place for all. “We’re proud of where we are and excited about where we’re going “ Wacks says, “We owe a great deal of our success to the long relationship with the Erics and their team. We look forward to the future.”
